    Oil Leak

Hi guy... Just wondering if anyone has the same problem as me...

I replaced the seal and filter from the v-tec block on my b16a. Now its oil is just running out off it like a fountain. I'Ve tried to put in gasket make but when you tighten it on it blocks the filter and vtec doesnt kick in as much.

I was wondering if theres anything else i can use to try and seal it?

    heres a pic of if..

Yes there is 2 different types of gasket for this seal as vinny mentioned. There is a different between the b16a seal off jdm b16a1 and b16a2 compared to the audm version.

Joyride, you dont need gasket goo for this seal. All bolts should be tighten up to equal specs each to avoid any leaks.

Go to honda and get a new vtec gasket/filter for $35 also 90% of the time its actually the cam seal behind/ontop of the vtec solenoid that leaks, check it out

yup i've seen this on a friends car, seem to have oil pissing out when you drive.
The 2 round black seals were not fitted correct or sometimes they break (cam seals).
The top rocker cover gasket doesn't need glue, just need to be torqued up correctly
