    Disabling Seatbelt Warning

Hey, I want to stop that bloody loud beeping warning. The one which beeps 5 times when you turn the key if you haven't got your seatbelt on.

By habbit, I get in, turn the car on, then put my seatbelt on, etc. It gives the car a few seconds to warm up and get smooth while I'm getting myself comfortable. It also stops the alarm arming itself and going off. And it's just a habbit.

So, I want to disable it. Is it just a matter of cutting the wires going into the seatbelt and putting them together (or keeping them apart)? Or is there more involved?

It's annoying and it's LOUD, so I can't wait to get rid of it.

There doesn't appear to be a plug. But I'll have another look.

i guess they are there for a reason, to annoy n remind you to buckle up.

Yeah, I understand the purpose. But I feel very uncomfortable in the car without a seatbelt. So I don't need something telling me to buckle up.

Thanks guys, I'll have another look for a plug.

I didn't know there was an alarm warning that you've left your keys in the ignition. I guess that's redundant, 'cos you need the keys to lock the car in Hondas.

One alarm I'm grateful for is the one which tells you you've left the lights on. That's saved me so many times!

I agree the seatbelt alarm is rediculously loud! I wouldn't be supprised if it could give you hearing damage lol, anyone have a DB meter? Do your ears a favour and un-plug it
