    d16y1 flywheel

    Hi All,

    Can anybody tell me the weight of a stock d16y1 flywheel?

    you don't want a super light flywheel if that's what your getting at

    D16 + light flywheel = stall at the drop of a hat

    not after anything super light. but lighter would be good

    correct me if i am wrong, my theory is, because your driveline is connected as one during driving/revving out, be more beneficial removing revolving mass from say wheels/tyres? or crank pulley? It is just what i plan on doing in the future, flywheel done. good for blippy downgearing or skids(if you're into it).

    d-series.org informs me that its 18lb = 8.1ish kg, can anyone confirm?
