    any1 help out a future dc2r owner :)?

    Hi guys,
i'm looking at buying an dc2r

i've got a few questions to everyone out there with a dc2r

    1. is it meant to have crinkles in the boot bay towards the rear seat. i'm talking very soft crinkles, as the spare-tire-square-indent-area curves around, at the corners of the top of the square. lol it's hard to explain but hopefully you understand.

normally i would say it's not, but every dc2r i have seen (3) have had crinkles in this area.

    2. can anybody please take a picture of the rear strut bar that runs flush against the rear bumper. because i've seen two different looking ones and i want to know what it's meant to look like lol.

    thanks everyone.

The 'crinkles's that you talk about is pretty normal. The carpet actually fold in behind the seats as they are put upright. People are just lazy and it probably automatically binds there a bit. I just use my fingers and push it down at those corners so the carpet becomes flat.

As for the Rear bar brace see here, should all be the same as far as I know:

umm but it's not the carpet, im talking underneath carpet as the itr im looking at didn't have carpet. it's in the chasis.
also, know where i can get the black plastic interior for the boot bay n stuff, cos yours looks pretty and the one i like doesn't look so pretty (scratched to the schnitzelit)

That wasn't my car. I just stole it of the interwebz.

This is my car. I think I can see the crinkles that you mention.

Don't worry. My car hasn't been crashed, ha ha! The crinkles would have been created during the forming process to get it in to its shape.

Scratches are a pain to fixed and I am really not sure what you can do if anything.

Yeh, Xmas with my fam tonight, Mrs and Kid girl. Parents and inlaws the next 2 days. Should be fun, NOT!

Mine is in very good nick interior wise for a daily. It all about how much care you take when getting in/out, loading things in the car etc etc.
