    Red eg

    My Eg4!
I've had it for a few months now, done a few bits and pieces.
was a bit rough when i got it, the bonnet was totally dented and unfixable so changed that to a black one.
Changed the dodgy pod filter job with a short ram intake. Got a strut brace too. Bought some 15' rims as well.
Still have some things to do like window tinting etc and a little sound system but otherwise, runs like a dream!! Just changed the spark plugs, i'm getting 625kms out of a tank
when i got it, dodgy "zip tie" and "duck tape racing" pod filter

As i bought it with 14' rims off an old prelude and badly dented bonnet.

After installing the strut brace and short ram intake

Bought some 15' rims and replaced the damaged bonnet with a black one.

Nice work, I like simple clean modifications like that. Amazing how much wheels can make a car look so much nicer. I can't wait to get some nice wheels for my EK, even with the mildly fading paint it should improve its appearance and road handling enough to be worth it.

Keeping the air intake and exhaust standard on mine for now. But I can see that yours was worthy of the new pod kit a mate of mine tried to convince me to change the pod also, but I don't wanna dodgy it.

    Thanks guys!!
Yeah the rims i got cheap, definitely make the car look better.
The paint is really bad on the roof and elsewhere, so i'll see what i can do about that, have been thinking of spraying the roof black and the rest red again, what do you think about that?
Engine will have to wait, unless someone donates a b series

u know where the arm of the pod is there's a hole, u really should get that ran into the head of the engine or block it off.

your going to get crap in your throttle body.

yeah i was wondering about the hole but i'm not sure where to lead it to? and also couldn't find anything to plug it with, might just get some tape for now.
And i'm on the southside of brissy, near hyperdome

You can get rubber caps from Supercheap to cover that hole. Much better than tape.

I'm not too far away from you. Am out at Slacks Creek.

The hole is supposed to have a plastic tube hose thing that runs to the rocker cover if there is a hole for it, i know there is on b series engines anyhow, and if no hole in the rocker cover, just get it blocked off. The hole is there for just extra vacuum, and if its not blocked off or run anywhere you are loosing vacuum suction
