red is master, grey is spare, black is the everyday one (i think thats how it works)
ahh i see
so is there any difference in what each key does? and do they look different?
ive contacted someone about their car but they only have the black key, they said they were never given the red or grey when they bought it second hand. would this be a problem?
Bought mine second hand 6 years ago, and same deal. One black key. It's never really been an issue, however I have thought that id be completely screwed if i lost my only set.
I guess it all depends if you wanna spend the $$$ to get the replacements, or use it as a bargaining tool to lower the asking price
at the same time tho the owner can turn around and argue back that majority of 2nd hand s2k are sold with only black key. also you shouldnt be chasing a bargain for a car that is worth wat they are asking. i know its good to save some dollars so they can go into mods, but at the same time think about how you feel when you sell a car and person after person low balls you. it gets f**king annoying
yea I dont intend on lowballing the guy because of the misplaced keys,
I just want to know what the replacement cost will be so if I do take the car, I know how much extra I have to add on top.. would be a real headache losing the only key
