    Itb's

Can I simply install a set of itb's on my automatic d16y4 without tuning?

Just reset the ECU and go?

plus you really need to find someone who really knows what there doing with itbs. heaps of tweaking involved to get these itbs to run properly. not any joe blow can get these to work well. So find someone with a good reputation. Toda is going up to qld so it would be a good idea to talk to him as he is pretty switched on when it comes to tunes

Yeah,I won't be doing it...it was only if tuning wasn't required.I would buy, bolt on,play and if no like, sell,if like then keep, but with tuning, nah.Getting too expensive, cause I would need greddy or the likes.

What would happen if U did just put it in and reset the ECU,would it just not idle and run sh!t?

why do you want to run it so badly on a stock engine.
as far as i know it runs worst than standard manifold, if untuned.

might want to do a little head work and a full aftermarket ecu to tune, then ul feel the real power in the ITB's

You would probably blow your motor. The ITB's allow for more air to rush in at once. With stock fuel maps/ignition timing, you'll run extremely lean and bye-bye motor.

I don't.It was more a thing of 'can I do this on the cheap'? Just something to have some fun with.

But the answer is no,so I'll let it go
