Which spark plugs for DC5R?

Hey all,

I'm about to purchase some Iridium spark plugs for my DC5R.

Would be much appreciated if you could let me know if the NGK ZFR6FIX-11 will fit? or whether there is another optimal/recommended spark plug? Thanks guys!

No idea what that part number you listed is. The number listed in the manual and the one I used is: IFR7G-11KS. The I signifies iridium, the 7 is the heat range I believe and the 11 means 1.1mm gap.

Might help a bit - the book says (for a DC2R):

PFR6G-13 changed every 96,000kms (recent quote from honda $167.00 for the 4)

As i change mine every 10,000kms, im currently using BKR6EIX-11 (bought for $19.00 ea)

Yeah best consulting your manual. But i dont like the bill of the platinums when i change them so often so thats why i opted for the Iridiums.
