    Wiring Diagram Stock Honda Cd Player

    hey guys some knob stole the cd player out of my teg, and i bought another HONDA cd player from some guy off the net. the think is i cant seem to find any wiring diagrams for it.

    does any one know where i can find out the info

    the model number is kenwood cx-401wovh2

    its a single din cd player and i dont even know which car the player is from

    ive also tried www.installdr.com and www.the12volt.com with no luck at all

    what are the wires that come with the headunit ?
    i'm guessing kenwood should have universal colours for their wires, so i think you should start off by getting any kenwood manual..
    post a pic of the wires you have..

    This is the wiring of a Honda, so try match the colours of teh CD player if u can?
    lol

    Red w/Yellow Stripe = Right rear +
    Blue w/Yellow Stripe = Left rear +
    Brown w/ White Stripe = Power antenna trigger
    Yellow w/ Red stripe = +12v Ignition wire
    Brown w/ White Stripe = right rear -
    Gray w/ White stripe = Left rear -
    Black = ground
    White w/ Yellow or Blue Stripe = +12v Battery (red on most cars)
    Blue w/ Green Stripe = Left front +
    Red w/ Green Stripe = Right front +
    Gray w/ Black stripe = Left front -
    Brown w/ Black Stripe = Right front -

    i can tell you guys now that the only wires that are the same on all model cars are the speaker wires, ground and the illumination wires. the power and antenna trigger wires are always different colours in every car.

    they are usually blue and light blue. but if stock honda, then it should be same?
