hey just want to know are the d16y1 and d16y8 are they interchangeable???like alternator,starter motor,everything basically.or any other d series that match to the d16y1??cheers guys

parts are interchangeable

electrical parts are different generation, ODB1 & ODB2 with different connectors, placement of sensors etc.

Local D16Y4 have an OZ only ECU, ECU connector and distributor.


If you transfer everything across, it should be OK.
