Ill keep this short.
Well my morning started at 5am. Had to pick the car up from Dr Honda's place. He's been working on it for a while now, installing new radiator, defi gauges, oil cooler and more. Thanks Phil you busted your ass again.
My first day ever at Wakefield so i thought ill grab The man John Boston along to give me some private tuition. I wasnt gonna go through all that effort and drive all the way down there for nothing. Was he worth the money??? well i can say no one can do a 108 lap time by themselves on there first day. So yes he was worth it. I did a 108.6. Anyone wanting to improve there driving instantly and i mean instantly then dont hesitate to get a few boys together and give this man a call. What you learn with him in one day you'll learn in a year by yourself.
Your probaly what he did...he did a 106.
The track conditions were quite average, it was hot! handling felt a bit sluggish understeering and oversteering. Towards the afternoon when it was a bit cooler thats when we started doing some faster laps but it was too late to do a PB as they were closing. I never really noticed it that much at Eastern ck but there was so much chassis flexing going on. Time for a roll cage and a front strut bar. But overall im pleased with the result and there's alot more in it. Time to go back and make some more developments.
A special thank you to:
Dr Honda: For your help and countless hours developing this entire car.
Yonas ( JDMYARD ): For the sponsoring me the Voltex Wing for the day and Koyo Full size radiator.
John Boston: For your driver training.
Westside Mufflers: Fabrication work.
Greenbox Karaoke: for your all your media work.lol
T.A.G Pest Management Pty Ltd: For the funds to develop this car in the future.
