gen3 crx/EG2 seat belt replacement

im having a bit of trouble finding a gen3 crx from the wreckers to get a seat belt.. just wondering if anybody knows if i could fit one from another car? say EG civic?

as far as I know, Integra, Accord, CRV, HRV and Civic belts should all be suitable.. you MAY need to take the donor car's buckle though but not certain. even EK civic should be fine.. I'd probably stick to the same generation as your chassis ie. dont fit a DC5 belt to an EG.. but a DC2 belt should be fine.. this is mainly for ADR compliance..

not 100% sure but I think u can even transfer Left to Right sides and (if retractable) rear to front etc.

thanks mate.. yeh i would get one from a gen3 crx, but cant seem to find any at the wreckers.. ive seen a few EG civics so it mite have to do

just picked up a seat belt from a EG civic.. only diff was the colour of the belt, buckle fit fine.

I think teg might have black belts though..

Limo are you in melb how much did one set you back and where from because i need 3 for a rwc and if i can't get the same colour then i may aswell get a full set

yeh from melb, just got a single one.. if your after a full set, check out DC2's ED, EK civics etc they should be the same.. just make sure the bolt patterns are the same as yours n you'll be right.

i got mine from a general wrecker just off barry's rd in cambelfield.. i think it was ARI st/rd? or hondaworld/ honda wreck will have some.. they had heaps of EG/EK/ED wrecks/parts
