Got H&R springs so the drop is 1.3" all around, $250 to get it installed by my preferred mechanic. Ride quality is pretty nice so far, a little bit firmer than stock but i prefer that.
Rims are 20" Work Gnosis GS1. Haha yeah, had to chop up the OEM grill and insert the mugen bit, kind of an expensive piece of plastic at $500 Installed it myself but the instructions were in Japanese, lucky my dad knows how to read japanese haha! Got it from JDMconcept.
haha aww thanks for the tip. I thought it looked round and made the ass even shorter but i thought it looked kinda funky like that haha
yeh my mates got the ducktail and i got the wing. some people think the mugen wing is too much, so the modulo wing is a right balance, but the ducktail is very nice cause its low and subtle but noticeable.
how much did the springs cost you and the rims? im planning to spend lots of money on aesthetics but those two things are the most expensive parts that im not certain i want to pay for. cause bodykit is paying to ADD something to the car. but rims and springs are paying money to REMOVE a perfectly working component.
u cant change to bigger rims without changing springs can u

Thats called modifying, if you dont want to change those parts, technically you would be driving a stock car, as the rest of the parts are still practically factory options, Weather shields, tints, etc.

Yeah i kind of like the ducktail but i dont like how the edges kind of 'sweep' towards the front if you know what i mean.
Got the springs from heeltoe for about $500 shipped, shipping being like 1/3rd the cost lol! Sure you can put rims on without lowering the car, it just looks a bit silly especially if you've got bigger rims on as it accentuates the gap between the wheel and arch.

oh really? i thought bigger rims would fill the space more

Yeah but with bigger rims you're going to be using thinner tires, which means less 'black stuff' so the black gap you're going to see between the actual alloy and arch will look bigger. But if you already had a lot of rubber between the arch and alloy, the gap isn't going to be as noticeable in comparison.
let me find a pic of the car before it was lowered.
edit:
Here's one - before the springs and aero kit.

Next is probably paint match the silver around the mugen grill. What do you guys think about doing that?

This looks awesome.... maybe i should get the kit as well, rims and drop it !!.... great choice for colour ... lol...

the same thickness of rubber with bigger rims will not fit in your car... bigger rims= thinner tyres(low profile). If youre only going up by 1 inch higher ( 18inch to 19inch) i suppose you can use the same thickness BUT ur car gonna look like 4x4s.. Also it might hit the upper part of the guards if you are going fast, meeting humps, or even turning full circle.
