Help Removing Honda Civic 06+ Oem Rear Spoiler

Hey guys, how would i go about removing the Oem Spoiler from a Civic 06+. i have the ducktail spoiler which i am planning to fit. i have removed the 4 bolts that are holding the spoiler but there is some strong glue between the spoiler and the trunk. how would i remove the glue without wrecking the paint, also what can i use to cover up the holes? got 4 holes in total, got 1 hole on each side to cover and the other holes will be covered but the ducktail spoller. any advice before i go ahead with my plans?

    thanks

    open your boot,
    take ur boot lining off
u should be able to see two 10 mm bolts on either end of the boot
once u take the bolt off, the spoiler is now then double sided taped to the boot which u need to get a fishing line to saw it out with a hair dryer to make the double tape soft

u can get like a gunk remover from woolies and rub it
the best solution ive used is WD40
    LOL!
it works though i had to remove my ducktail
just soak it, let u sit for 10 seconds and den rub it off, with ur thumb,
and use ur nail for stubborn ones

not that bigger of a hole, u can go to bunnings and get tabs to cover the hole or u can get a sticker matching ur colour and just stick em on
