alot of it u can tune out urself. uve already got timing. and if u play with ur fuel pressure you can squeeze a little out of it whilst not spending alot. chipped ecus r cheap to for somethin like crome or neptune if u do it u may aswell do it properly. i dont see y a vafc wont work still u just dont have the vtec map.

i run my d16 with the little work it has off oem ecu no chip

Around 55-60kw ATW. The d16y1 and d16y8 both make 96kw too. Similar kw at the wheels too.
Less since its so old now.

You're correct, my mistake. The Euro D16 DOHC makes 93.2kw.

As for 55-60kw ATW I'd have to think that either your dyno run is wrong or there's something stuffed with your engine that you just haven't noticed. I wouldn't expect a FF Honda to lose anymore than 30% of power from fly to wheels, even at 20 years of age.
I'm sure if we dig around we can find something a little more concrete...

most figures ive seen on dseries.org is around 70-75kw atw with i/h/e. and the american dynoes tend to read a bit higher than ours

In March CRXAustralia is doing a dyno day, so we'll probably have some D16A8 results, with plenty of B's also
