eg air con noise

Hi, I recently got the air con fixed in my eg and there was no air con when I bought it so I just wanted to check with all the other eg owners...

When it is on my air con makes a loud hissing noise every 50seconds or so, is this normal?

I'm just wondering if other egs do the same thing.

mine does that ... my intake is a little bit louder every few seconds when the A/C is on

yep my intake does the same lol...makes your car sound like ass when AC is on right....can I ask what was wrong with the AC?? mine doesnt like working during the day (sunny and hot) but at night works fine...I dont know if this is abnormal??

cool cool thanks, I thought so..Although I really dont like using it, was thinking of just taking all AC stuff out for weight reduction..Think its worth it?? OP- Sorry for taking over lol

The electrician said the evaporator busted so he installed a new one. . . . costed a fortune so I want to at least know that it is completely fixed and they didn't do some half-ass job on it.
and my eg is stock.
