    Hey Frankie

    5-6 kw's + Vtec.

Maybe 6-800 for cost, but check out d-series.org for a list of parts U will need, then U can find out how much U are up for.

U do need to change the head to a Vtec head,so it's no small job.But if U know exactly what to do,U can have it done in 6 hours! and that's why the guys in the states do em',they know what to do and there's lots of people to help do it

It's too expensive and not worth it if U get a shop to do it.

    That's the difference.

I think I remember maybe that someone had done it,that was a while ago but.

Like U can get the parts for say 6-800 but it's the labour cost on install that will kill ya!

Ur in Sydney, give bennjamin a PM and see if he cant help!

today, nearly ready to clean up the d a bit, waiting on a clutch and flywheel as I lol'd at the cost of one from the dealer, hell the fly on it's own was $400 and it had to come from the same warehouse as where I'm getting it from for less than $45... wish they'd pass on the ecconomy dollar value to the consumers, lol

Mini-me VTEC conversions are just BS, waste of time if you want power.

If you want fun + VTEC then sure go for it, but you may as well just get a D16Y1
