Hey mate goto autobarn to pick up your pod filter, take the pipe for piece of mind so you know the pod will fit it.
Where doesnt the intake fit into?
yeah i been there lol got like a massive land cruiser one wont fit in the car for sure but is the same size though. apparently i got to put it on angle to install the intake like i can get it into where its suppose to be like its block but all the pipes and the tubing on the stock air intake has like 2in1 tubes don't know what the other one is for one goes to the valve cover and the other not sure. what do i do ?? i tried it onto trying again tomorrow need help asap LOL.
jezza10: the vti-r has a dual runner manifold design, therefore the throttle body position is significantly lower as opposed to GSi or Type-R. this is probably why it does not seem to fit properly
Yeah what NSPYRE said. To fix this all u need to do is go buy a piece of silicon hose and 2 clamps to attach it to ur air intake n the throttle body. Just look at Boban picture u can see a red silicon hose attach to the intak throttle
dont think simota make j's racing intake replica for dc2, only ek and eg, reason why it doesnt fit properly is because the design of the intake for a ek/eg the end is curved, wheras you try fit it on a dc2 it wont "clear" the abs
