is there any clearing issue for a 17/7.5" to fit 225/50 tire? or 215 will be better?

dont think so. i think ull still have plently of space. ppl fit 235/45/17 on 17x8 on their dc5 with no problems. just as long as ur car is not slammed to the max.

Yea 225 50 on a 7/7.5" rim is no problem.

but its a bit big for a dc5 your better off going a 225 45 or 235 40 even.
