If the cars got high kms then might as well get a h22 half cut with manual box w/backyard swap if its gna cost around the 4k mark?

would it be more of a logical decision rather than forking out 3k+ to swap for another tiptronic box?

indeed MWAKU. i was told if i wanted a manual conversion it was better off selling the auto for a manual instead. less headaches this way then doing a complete conversion

Engine problem is another thing to look out for when buying a Honda prelude VTI-R 5th GEN.

Depending on where you live etc, Do a thorough check on insurance and how much it will cost, I know when I first tried to insure Nrma and Gio wanted in excess of 6k!!! I'm 22 now and that was 3 years ago, also ING no longer insure Prelude drivers under 25 (thats who I'm with now, I went with them about a year ago as they were te cheapest, $1800, and I don't live in the ghetto either lOl) So just be sure to check that out too!

Also as you can see in my thread, the harmonic balancer may be prone to falling out so check for any knocking noises in the engine bay (closer to the wheel arch)

They chew through quite a bit of oil, even without any leaks so keep that in mind too.

Apart from those things I'm really happy with my choise and think it's a real nice sporty chicks kinda car (sorry to the boys who drive one, I still think your cool though )
