B20 ticking sound

Hey people, jus noticed today wen i rev my car and it drops back to idle, i can hear a sort of loud ticking sound which i think is coming from an injector. Any ideas??

All your injectors make a ticking noise at or around idle rpm.

Grab a large screwdriver , place the screw end on various parts of the engine and place your ear firm against the handle . As it idles you should be able to establish a vauge area of the ticking.

For example , valvetrain or injectors or dizzy or bottom end etc

thanx man that helped heaps, i put it on the screw driver on each inector and it sounded from there. I didnt even noe that trick thanx man
