i'd personally do it in stages:
1. get CAI then catback for sound and a little more go.
2. then i'll turn my attention to other areas like handling (tyre/wheel + sussy) and brakes (pads and rotors).
3. if u then want more go, i'd do header + ECU.
4. if u are a baller, full toda rebuilt.
i personally done 1 & 2 except rotors and i can't justify spending another $3-4k for no.3. i also got distracted and got other bits like HU/speakers, lower seat rails and other small bits an pieces lol

I've been in both Evo 7 & 8, im sure a 7 felt a bit quicker due to its gear ratio's both stock. It's only the boost that makes it fun to drive.

cheers everyone, i decided to go with the ep3 instead of tme evo 6 as it would be better for my pockets and a whole lot more fun as well as being practical at the same time def ep3 ftw although i'll always have a soft spot for the evo

man i'd love to get a ride in your car just to see how much more performance you've been able to get out of it

the CAI lost a bit of low end torque but the catback made up for it and more.
sussy (Tein SS) got rid of the understeer and ride smoother than stock on uneven road but it doesn't like potholes.
brake pads felt better as the OEM pads are hopeless but there are still improvement in this area. the next step would be disc. can't justify calipers as i don't track my car.
Nepolian and Steve have more mods than me so u'll have a better idea of the potential of modded EP3.
