ditch the cai and go back to the stock airbox. modify it maybe with a larger feed to the box

bearing in mind that all cars will differ, the ecu wont adjust straight away to whatever mods u change. i too have tried similar dyno comparisons. in saying that, the op stated he has chrome so tuning throws all that out. using a longer intake with airbox will likely give more low end torque in this case
