Update: Flushed old oil and changed to new.. whirring sound has been silent ever since.

But the Oil light is still showing ?

I recommend buying a new sensor from Honda spares (or get a shop to order it in for you from Honda) and replacing it. If you don't know how to, get someone else to do it. The sensor threads has to be sealed using proper liquid gasket and not thread tape.
