    Car System

    Hey guys,
Im not very educated when it comes to car audio so i was wondering if i could get some help. I was given a 12" Alpine Sub today and was wondering what amp to get. Its a Alpine SWR-304D... 1000 watts Peak.. 300 watts RMS. Through the amp all i want to run is the sub, not speakers aswell.
If anyone could give me some advice on a amp and also some information on the sub. Not sure if its a good sub or not...

    Thanks guys..

its ok. its an old sub but decent.

dunno what specs youre after but heres some from google:

12 incher, fs: 30hz, vas: 69l, qts: 0.33. alpine suggests a sealed .85 cubic foot (24L) subbox volume.. which is small for a 12 inchers. thatll save you some boot space. 4 ohm impedence.

plenty of monoblock amps easily make 300 @ 4. just comes down to your budget

    Bridge a 4 channel if you're on a budget.
