rear sway bar- tell me about the whiteline rsb and hd mounts

hey there, i have an eg5, and i want to tighten up the rear end a tad. i have tein superstreets atm
i looked at the beaks tie bar, useless.
the asr brace kit is nice, but uber expensive.
so im looking at the whiteline rsb and ive read that the heavy duty mounts will prevent any possible issues with tearouts.
    anyone running this currently?
where is the best place for competitive pricing on this product? anything else i should be looking at to package with the rsb?
or should i look at getting something else entirely, say dc2r subframe conversion? other brand rsb?
    cheers

beaks tie bar or asr subframe brace with dc2r RSB combo.

    works a treat.

I agree with vampzzz, the most tried and true combination is the ASR subframe brace + DC2R RSB.

There are lots of differing reports on just how effective the whiteline kit is, but if it were me, I would hold off a little longer and save up for an ASR w/ DC2R RSB.
DC2R rear swaybars are really common to find 2nd hand in the marketplace, and ASR's pop up every now and then, so you could have that combo and save yourself a bit getting them from the marketplace.

ok, ill wait for the dc2r rsb, what about replacing the rubbers and mounts?
ive seen a few asr bars sell for about $200-300 on the fs thread, whats a dc2r rsb fetch?
and lastly, can i run the oem lca's?

Wrong. Beaks tie bar is no substitute for an asr brace. What you meant to say was Beaks subframe reinforcement kit (which is very different to the tie bar) or asr subframe brace with dc2r rsb

Incorrect. Eg5 LCAs are perfectly fine to use with a swaybar, as they already have the holes for the mounting of swaybar endlinks.

edit: Unfortunately it Isn't really feasible to simply swap the subframe for a dc2r subframe. This requires the old subframe to be cut out and the new one welded in, its not a cost effective option. As above, geeang is on the money - there have been known failures with the whiteline kit, however the asr setup is tried and tested and recommended by many for a reason.

take a read here re: whiteline kit http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...bframe+failure

They have redeveloped the design, but ASR still is the failsafe option.

    EG owners.....

just get a real ASR brace and relevant swaybar. Dont bother with anything else. (whiteline especially)
