yeah meaning to take it off when i put it on but it was *itch to get it in there. so hard just replace something so simple.

haha yeah. time to get everything lowered. at least i don't kill my front by parking now its high. good thing the guy had low jack or else couldn't put the wheels on.

Long time no post.

Just thought I'd vent... just discovered one of my rims has a massive dent in it

Doesn't look like gutter rash per say... anyone who knows me knows I'm meticulous about how/where I park to avoid gutter rash and until now my rims were pristine condition. I'm really saddened by how the rim looks.

Very very sad.

Its just the lip thats bent... anyone reckon I could go to a rim shop and see if anyone is willing to bend it back?



Anyone ever do any repairs on damaged rims (other than purely cosmetic)? Post some cost/details!

I think it happened on the weekend... on my way back from toowoomba to brisbane I hit a massive pothole (didn't see it at all - was dark).. never felt such a big thump... Theres no scrapage... its just bent.

hey mark, u can probably take that rim over to "graham's street wheels and tyres" on moss street. very close to ur house. they can do wheel repairs there. a couple of friends have gone there to do so. im sure u can also fish around prices for a rim repair while ur in that area. there are a few other tyre places there in slacks creek that may also be able to fix ur wheel.
