Choosing Honda civic VTi-L or Accord Euro lux?

    Hi every one,
I want to buy a new car but I do not know which one I should choose between Honda Civic VTI- L 2006 has done 70,000 km and Honda Accord Euro Lux 2004 has done 68,000km (same price).
    Thank you.

depends what you want most mate

obviously the euro is a more powerful car, with 2.4L engine giving 148kw
and on top of that it has fancy stuffs like leather seats, sunroof etc

    for the VTi-L, it's a 1.8L engine producing 103kw
no fancy stuffs basically when comparing to the euro lux
but obviously it's a more economy car in terms of petrol usage

i mean after all it depends on how you drive and what do you need it for

and you have to think about resell value as well
i guess euro has a higher value
if it's the same price for those 2 cars, i think i'd go for the euro lux
just my opinion, hope that helps

Feature wise, I would definitely say a Euro is much better equipped. The 2006 VTI-L also didnt have many of the things the current VTi-L have, e.g. aux port, 15" rim (instead of 16 after 2007), no curtain airbag, no remote book release, no VSA, no bootlining(?) etc
The Euro Lux would have all the features of current VTI-L (except aux port), plus HID, sunroof, leather, full airbags etc etc.

Then again, like Reclus said, all depends on what you use it for. My mate of mine has an 04 Euro Lux, and fuel consumption is not that much different to my 08 civic VTi, so fuel wise there isn't going to be a big difference. Interior space and dimension of the car is similar.

As long as you get the Euro checked out and everything is okay, I would say go for the Euro for sure, for the same price why wouldn't you.

agreed, but they were almost twice the value of the civic brand new, so you do get what you pay for lol

I would get Euro over Civic any day (if its the same money)...its a more civilised ride and higher spec car, but prepare to pay more at the pump.
