    ive used 13:1 CR pistons before on optimax, but now having read this post, im not sure if the headgaskest lowered this a little..

    Its all in tuning mate. But 13:1 its kinda high anything over 12:1 will begin to affect the driveability.

    from what i've been told, up to 12:1 and a tad higher is okay on good fuel, but the tuning is very important.

    maybe someone with first hand tuning experience will want to pipe in about now

    Mine is the first gen of B16As Danny, they onle made 160ps, not the 170ps the 2nd gen of JDM B16As made.
