interior lights and centre console doesn't work

hey guys, i just recently bought a euro and i'm loving it
however, today when i turned on my car, the centre console and the interior lights stopped working
i checked the fuse box inside the car, and the interior dome light fuse was blown, so i changed that, but the radio still won't work. the radio fuse is stilll okay as well

i read on some of the other threads that i have to replace the whole head.. which is going to cost 1500 dollars =(
man.. i dont really have that kind of money, especially since im still in uni... is there anything else that i can do to fix it?

Hey dude, call your local dealership, they replaced my head unit for free as panasonic had extended warranty for 03-04 euro's.. Check my thread about it..

Also in the thread I put details about a place in Tempe that repairs them for 200
