I managed to pick up a pretty decent Type R for $19K with less than 100,000kms on the odo. you just need to be patient and look around. I think if they listed for $21K, you should be able to negotiate down to $19K....I did!

Just be patient as it can take a while. I was actually very lucky that it didn't take me too long in my search (less than a month).

Personally, I would go with the R over the S since the type R is more aggressive and lighter in weight without all the luxury items. Type R is also better on fuel consumption if that helps your decision. Good luck and I would give that guy on carpoint asking $21K a call and see if he will take $19K
