Exclamation Idling problem, hv done searches but no result found

hi mates, my CRX with B16A2 idles a bit high (around 1500rpm) when cold.
the problem is it doesn't go down even hv been driven normally for 15mins,
anyway the temperature pin just won't raise.
i m pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the TPC,
becoz when it's warmed up it idles at 600-700rpm which is pretty normal i reckon.
the thing is it's taking far too long to get warmed up.
i hv done some researches and most likely there are issues with IACV or FITV,
just i don't know where are they located and how to get it done :S
apart from IACV and FITV, what might cause the problem?
    any answers will be appreciated

    problem fixed, it's thermostat releated

if ur temperature pin wont raise the sensor could be faulty or maybe your thermostat is stuck open

    Thermostats slightly opened mate.

Had it on my DC2. Pretty common on B series. Itll only get worse. Highway driving youll always be in the cold position.

thermos are easy to get out just not easy to get to in some models, b16 from memory shouldnt be to hard. Also make sure u have the gasket, if the thermo housing been tight for a while the gasket will deff rip. and check your coolant temp sensor.. you prob wont have to drain all your coolant just top up some... and make sure to bleed the system before your first drive with the heater tap on HOT not cold.....
