After many months i have been compensated for the damage. they honored the quote i got from Honda for all new replacements. $1261 Total payout.

Now I have even more of a reason to hate those awful dash air freshener things. Yuck. Why would anyone want to make their car smell like deodorant? Unless your car is especially ripe smelling, eg child vomit in carpet...

Agreed.I'd never use those smelly things in my car.This is just another reason not to use them.

My car is 5weeks old brand new, didnt put any airfreshner in my dashboard...After reading this i won't even buy any and put in my dash board

i used to put mine on the right drivers side vent .. no problems whatsoever
