i am really interested in D-series now. hehe since i got ahold of a jdm eg8 d15b 3-stage vtec motor.
hopefully i can do either of one
 - manual conversion, recond. engine
 Or

im a bit relived now hahagettin a 7k loan from racv. hopefully that works out. fingers crossed. in the end of the 5 year loan term my total repayment would be $9023.65 so i THINK that aint too bad. considering its only $135 a month. sell my piece of s@#t of an auto off and im left with at least only 4k debt left.

one lady is selling her ej8 vti coupe MANUAL *drools for 4.5k to meee. with rego untill march 2011
its green but nergh. very clean and healthy car (only done 143xxx kms) only clutch needs to be replaced.
save 800bucks of the 7k loan for third party insurance and half of my rego for next year.

 ANDDDD thennn
i will be most likely left with 1k... to spend on little mods
hopefully replace my air intake with a CAI, AEMv2 i hope. ad some used hks coilovers for $500. and then a decent aftermarket exhaust that will keep me happy for a while.

im on a student budget - i earn about 890 a month (on paper that is, i earn a few hundred more C.o.h)
worked it out with the loan, each month out of the income i recieve ive decucted each months necessities i need to buy

 $200 - petrol
 $70 - ciggarettes
$60 - parkign tickets for school per month
$70 - phone bill per month

and i still hae a few hundred on hand to do w/e i want. not bad for a student

can i just say D-series although aint the best, is the best for value?!

u fellas will laugh but, when i drive my cousins maual k24 crv sport, it doesnt feel as fast as my d15b, acceleration ftl
. made me realise theres more to building a zippy car than just a motor conversion.
so bye bye b-series dream, ima stick to reality and soup up a d16vtec haha

thats a good price for an ej8 in green
she killed the clutch at 140k, that seems unlikely, lol

mines made it to 250 odd with my driving lol

mines coming to an end tho in the very near future, bays getting emptied and selling the d16 on lol

if there's a noise in the clutch I would bet money its the usual ej8 squeaky pedal or a leaking clutch master cylinder (a part that will die soon lol, so find a new clutch master cylinder, slave and a bottle of oem brake fluid and have a ball or pay 70 bux for someone else to as it's a kent to do lol)
the clutches unless dumped on hard at the drags at full tilt are very well bits of kits that never fail

lol, you dont get clutch master cylinders and slaves from a wrecker, theyre a cheap enough thing to buy new when you get both then you know they have new seals and wont just start leaking as a majority of eks at the wreckers are at the age where if theyre not leaking already, they will in the near future, just one of a few parts that werent designed as well as they couldve been.
hard? mmmm hard to tell on that alone, could be alot of things. First just check in the car under the dash attached to the clutch pedal and follow it back to a small rubber piece with a rod sticking out of it, it shouldnt have oil or any kind of residue on it, if it does that may be the only problem
