    Noob - S2000 admirer/mx5 owner

Hi guys, i have always wanted an S2000, but unfortunately my racing budget won't allowe it. So i am building a new time attack carbon fibre clad mx5. Actually i am building 2 identical ones with another guy. We are looking at the S2000 for inspiration, i especially like the amuse wide body car. I have made carbon fibre vacuum infused parts for my current NA MX5. But for the new NB cars we will be doing everything we can in carbon fibre. So they should look like a mix between an S2000 an FD RX7 and an MX5.
Here is a couple of pics of the hardtops i make and the doors.

Pic of bare hardtops, they weigh 2.6 kg's

    Door and hardtop on car

Inside of door - the complete door weighs 2.3 kg's bare

This is the bodykit look i will be making.

If anyone is interested i can keep you updated with the build of the cars, and of making the moulds and carbon fibre panels. If not i will just come on here and admire your cars.

I am a stay at home dad with a 5 month old boy, and only have limited time to work. I will be going down to the workshop 2-3 evenings a week and some weekends to build the cars. So not really looking at taking on any work at the moment. I would be keen to make an S2000 hardtop when i have more time.

Understood............... I was not sure if anyone on here would be interested in a non honda car. Even though it is a similiar car to an S2000, and even more so after i am finished with the new panels.
