go for a drive in all of the cars when at all possible, find the complete package that suits your needs
my formula: (insurance cost, fuel, locally sold part avail, part prices, is there immaculate documentation, can I fit people in it when need be, how is trunk space, does it have cup holders, etc)
exactly... also the reason why some people do engine swaps is that they CAN afford lets say a dc5 or dc2r but the insurance would be very very high
i didnt know that.. so insurance is cheaper for an ek with upgraded engine compared to say a factory dc2r?
it doesn't make sense though, because you have to declare modifications you've made on the car and obviously the engine would be the first thing on the list.
could you clarify?
thanks all, now these are all the sort of responses im after.
as long as you dont cover or have too much on the car, stop at suspension, wheels and engine otherwise you'll be looking at justcar, and fk that shit (I just love how bigger companies operate better and are easier to deal with) lol
omfg i think im gonna go ahead with a conversion....
i just love my ek too much to let it go for anything else..
yes, and post pics been through the same a few times, even have a template for its sale (been tempted to go back to my old car a few times lol) but for the reliability it's just to easy too keep running
cxi, such a nice car, no troubles of abs, power windows, power mirrors (some cases no ac I've heard, yet never seen), just screams do a 5 stud swap, lol
