    keyless entry problem

Hey OH, got a small issue with my immobolizer/ keyless entry remote.

My car immobilized itself and wouldn't let me start up, i had to disconnect the car battery to get the car going as the buttons on the keyless entry remote didn't work . I thought it might be the batteries on the remote, but i just went and bought new batteries and the remote still isn't letting me unlock/lock the car, doesn't even try to. Have tried the spare remote too which also doesn't work.

Anyone have any suggestions on what might be up?

Maybe there is an interference by the nearby electric wave.
