    FN2R Price and Tips?

Hello all, I haven't been on this forum for awhile.
To cut a long story short my DC5R was hit, and written off.
Now i'm looking at getting back into a type R namely the FN2R.

    I'm looking at a '09 FN2R in CW white.
What is a reasonable price to pay at the dealers for it?
Car valuation sites quote around 34k-38k

Any tips from people with negotiating with sales person?

anything i should look out for when i inspect/test drive?

    All help greatly appreciated!

If you are looking for a brand new car, i've been quoted close to $40k. Otherwise always look out for good deals on carsales. Salespeople generally don't like timewasters and always want to secure the deal, if you are genuine about buying a brand new car, compare against a couple of dealers and tell them your ready to commit and they will usually give you the best price straight away and then choose the dealer that offers the best value for money. They don't always compensate monetarily but often through throwing in accessories and other addons such as extended warranty etc. Since it is the close to the financial year, im sure you will pick up on a good deal.

    Test driving -
make sure all gear changes are smooth and slick, i.e. no notches or clunks.
Check tyre tread vs kms driven
Look out for rust and rubber seals
Paint should all be same color code, if not indicates damage/accidents

no plans to mod it yet as i want to maintain the 5 yr warranty
maybe after the 5 years is up will be a different story

I am planning on doing lighting mods
depending on how good the stock low beams are i may get Philips Crystal visions
as much as i like HIDs i dont want the hassle of doing it again, i find its bit hard to see in the wet nights with HIDs

and planning to put yellow bulbs in the foggies 2500k something different

Most likely a 2009 built, 2010 builds are extremely rare especially when they are trying to clear stock before the end of financial year.
Nevertheless, still a very good price
