it could be your driveshafts that is worn out, or sometimes the cv boot is split open and exposed to weather and dirt going into the cv joints and damaging it. I dont know what the symptoms of a worn cv joint is but since its on the drivers side only it can very well be a possiblity, you can even check this out by yourself if you just look into the wheel and see if there is grease all over the place.
