    Honda Jazz Service in NSW

    Hi All,

Who would recommend in NSW for honda service for relative new cars?
    Scott's (artarmon)
    Trivett (Parramatta)
    Tynan
    HornsbyHonda
    Others?

I inquired about the Jazz VTI-S 09 Auto 20k kms service and I got different quotes. Hornsby honda offered $100 less but wants the car the whole day unless I bring it real early.

Scott's said it was just 1.5 hrs.

Please post your recommendation and why. Please share your experience.

Considering it's just an oil/filter change ( a 15 minute job ), you work it out from there.

still took 1.5~2 hrs, checked the brake pads, rotated the tires,
    replaced the ff:
    oil filter element filter
    petrol treatment
    oil flush
screen washer (not sure what this is)
    washer, drain
    synthetic engine oil

not too bad but a bit expensive.

To me,what they did was change your oil and filter and add water to your washer bottle. If you want to save money you better start learning how to DIY. Like fundies said, its only a 15 minutes job plus 15 minutes waiting for the oil to drain.

So what did they charge for your oil filter and change. ? ( the other stuff is just there to "justify" the big bill. )

I just don't want to void the warranty since it's a new car. After the 3 yrs warranty, I'll do DIY. Rounded everything to around $300.

Now my power window gut buggy and my rear parking sensors don't work Noticed it a week maybe 2 weeks time after service).

Yeah for warranty reasons i'd stick to the authorised service places for the warranty period

$300 seems a bit steep for just the minor service though

that was the quote for 2 service centers before I got there. I guess for honda it's expensive. I think toyota is cheaper.

what does this mean? "We'll try to see if they can still be covered by warranty."

i find that larke hoskin service is cheaper but the car still feels better when I get it serviced by rick damelian.
1 example: handbrake appears to be always adjusted when coming from rick dam.
but all others I have tried doesn't seem to be like that. is it possible that they follow procedures more closely.

thanks for that info. how much cheaper is larke hoskin? Is the price difference enough to consider them over rick dam? Does rick dam have a service to a train station?

if I recall correctly, my fleet account was charged 140-160 for a minor service. while at rick dam, its 200+ but, I still bring in my vehicle to rick dam, just because I feel they perform the service better (rotation performed, cleaning of brakes performed, I am not so sure if these are always done on the other dealers I've tried, washed + free box of chocolates after service (which the wife loves) LoL). but that is just me.
