Hi guys… I need your help... I've got a 1990 Gen 2 CRX Si and I need to get my alternator repaired … Just wanted to know how much I should pay to get it rebuilt or how much for a second hand one…got a quote that max it will cost is $360 including labour… Is this a reasonable price? Any good workshops you guys can recommend? Living in the Western MELB area

Is it broken or just completely carked it so to speak?

My distributor went on my 1990 CRX si and I ended u getting a brand new one, which I got a 12 month warranty on, depends how long you're gonna keep the car for, and if the price difference for 2nd hand/new is worth it to YOU or not.

Personally i'd go brand new, look in phone book for workshops

what engine does it run? ive got a d-series alternator off a d16y1 if u need it. pm me for price.
