DC5R Speakers

Hey guys,

Currently running 4 speakers off the HU (50W each)

Just recently installed my speakers and HU, when i turn on the ACC (Power) i hear like a thump sound coming from the front left speaker, then all the speakers don't work. I disconnected that speaker and the other 3 seem to work fine. When i did have the front left speaker in and i had the door open SOMETIMES it would work until i moved the car.

I have checked the connections and everything seems to be fine, some people thing that maybe the cable is too short

Any recommendations?

check that u have installed the hu correctly and run new wires from the hu to the speakers.

the HU is installed corrected, im using the stock speaker wire i just cut the clip off and wired it to the speaker wire that came with the new speakers

im thinking its the cable shorting somewhere. try to put the OEM speaker back or swap around the right speaker to the left and see if it still stops working. if it works then it looks like ur speaker is gone if it doesnt work then it could be the wire.
