The tank capacity has been debated here long and hard, consensus is, believe how much you see go into the tank and how many K's you drive, before you fill it again. The trip meter isnt exact either. Its meant to be indicative only, I believe.
...while trip B will continue to record mileage and average you all of your cars fuel consumption.
Careful coz the default setting is sometimes set to reset trip B at 10,000kms.
