under the bonnet, there is that carpet sorta like material on the underside, anyone know what it does? any consequences of removing it?

yeah. should just be sound deadening. removing it means it goes from vtec yo to VTEC YO!!!!!!!!
might protect your bonnet from the heat.. which will bubble the paint?
^ that was what i was curious of if i were to remove it but people have said look at the paint inside the engine bay, its closer to the engine yet they dont bubble, but i want to confirm first haha
