your b16a would be using a obd 2 wiring harness, so it should be a straight plug and play depending on what car (year) the b18c2 came out of.

make sure the b18c is a obd2 as well
or u can even get your standard ECU modded with hondata and run the b18c

So are you swapping your B16A for a B18C2?

make sure theres a knock sensor plug if not your going to have to make one. my b16a2 didnt have one. so when i did b18c2 swap i had to make a knock sensor plug and wire it to the ecu

Out of curiosity why have you guys swapped your B16A's for B18C2's? I have nothing against it, but for me personally it's something I wouldn't do. Just interested to hear why you've gone with this swap, ta

well my b16a2 timing belt snapped ... ****ing previous owner said was done .. >=[ .. so anyways i took that as a chance to do an engine swap and my funds were not that high i had enough to do a b18c2. Which i did myself wanted to get my hands dirty as well as save on labour it was a fun experience hehe

i've gone from wanting to swap from the b16a to b18c2 because its not too much that i need to be spending for the upgrade. I'm doing the engine swap with a few other mates so i'd like to have that kind of experience on my belt. And plus .. getting to diy the whole project is just so much more satisfying knowing that its you that made that thing purrrrr.
