2000 Honda Civic EK VTI SEDAN AUTO TRANSMISSION Q#

I've got a 2000 Honda Civic VTI Auto sedan.
How much am i looking at to replace the auto cvt transmission.
motor is a d16y5. transmission part no is M4VA.
Can I replace the auto transmission with the Gli S4PA Autobox ?

The Gli I believe uses a cable driven gearbox whereas the civic is cvt. I'd be interested to find out about this too as I'm considering doing it for a family friend. Though I don't think you can. The cost between the two gearboxes are ridiculous.
