wen mine idles for more than 30secs after its warm, it puffs the white smoke like a chimny......lol

Yeh, that's funny - mine does that too! And starts to spit water out - condensation i'd guess... And i don't thrash my car (not saying you do lol) and it's only got 53,000kms on the clock! Is there a mechanical explanation...?

I don't know why, but once it's warmed up it is fine...

same here, lol, does it every morning, puffs out smoke 4 like 10min, than it goes away, nothing wrong with the engine, jus to much condensation build up in the exhaust... dam winter season!!!!

Haha my mirage did that and i would turn off the engine at the lights cos all the cars behind me would be covered in smoke if i didnt

well technically I don't own an EK, however I think this thread is a little too specific... maybe I can add my 2 cents even tho i own an EG civic...

so if that is the case, then this week i have
1) bought it, and
2) got it tinted (yay!)

and

3) on Monday i'm getting my personalised plates put back on it, the exhaust, CV Boot and Brakes done

Was very lucky and managed to pick up a genuine JDM centre console/armrest from an EK3

It's not in too bad shape for it's age but will need a little TLC once I receive it:
- Has same interior colour at AUS GLi Civic (hard to find because ones in States have different trim) but needs some upholstery cleaner to tidy it up a bit
- 2 plastic clips are broken off on either side (importantly each side still has one on each but will probably still be lose will have to test it out) so might need to get some s/s clips instead or something
- Has a slight crack at bottom of frame but some Loctite will fix that so not a biggie
- Doesn't have coin holder at back but I can just use my current one instead
