    Dahhhh that happened to me about a year ago, was parked at the station, someone, whilst reversing out of their spot, rammed my rear end and completely smashed my passenger side rear.

    HAd to pay insurance excess and get it fixed

    Because my Civic head unit is slightly fried (OEM) and Honda want to charge $1100 to fix, i was thinking of getting the Double Din replacement and a new unit.

    I believe that the double din FD kit has a 7" slot. There are unit's out there that are 5.8" or 4.3" in size. Do these Double Din FD consoles require a 7" unit or do they come with various adapters that you can use to put other sized units in?????

    Has anyone got the Double Din and have installed a unit? i need one with iPod/iPhone, subwoofer/amplifier and bluetooth connectivity and under $500. Deosn't have to play DVD or have a touchscreen (these are optional)

    all double din are the same size, but the screen size can differ from every model, i have the alpine iva-w502ev, so does aero i think from memory
