    Whats the best place to source the double din kit? JDM has it for $250, i saw another place that wanted $260. Anyone found a good place for cheaper? obviously need the dark grey/charcoal looking one.

    no, you can always get the steering wheel controls working, all you need is a pac swi jack. around $150-250 depending where you buy. mine looks like this, not sure if there is an upgraded version

    For all steering wheel control, all to do is just buy a adpter from JB Hifi, Car sound dealer, .... I had mine done with Alpine headunit on FD1, work well

    U get less responsiveness but more power top end.

    Can someone tell me where I can find a switched 12V source of power in the FDs, preferably switched on when it's within the 'on' region instead of 'acc'.

    I know that there are a few fuse locations that have this, but the wire that I'm connecting already has a fuse connected inline with it...so I just thought there would be an alternative.
