if you get it from paul all his kits are in stock and he has heaps in his storage facility (in brisbane). Ive seen them personally. And they have not been folded or creased.

but as euroR said, it all depends on how much money you want to spend and how much effort and research you want to do. But from my point of view i can say that i can guarantee that paul from bodykits kingdom is a great avenue to deal with.

but its great to know everyones doing there research!

i can tell u that u wudnt have to worry about shipping because its done via DHL and u get the stuff to ur door within 3 business days

that being said, ive seen photos of paul's stock and if u dont care about the few hundred dollars difference (ur saving over $1k already anyway) and want certainty that ull get it quick and guaranteed. then buy it off him

alas i have to wait 30 days to get mine QQ...

if i were in australia, id definitely pay the retail price and pick up from paul directly

since im in the US, im still debating on which vendor to go with. the $300 USD full type S kit from jc sportline is really an attractive price but sandy (sales manager) said that their best shipping method is DHL at $500 USD which makes it a huge turn off. they use paypal and DHL if you have any doubts. sometimes i think it really costs like $200-$250 USD to ship from china to US and they pocket the rest. because i got a $220 USD shipping quote from JSPEC (also in china). so there's a $280 difference in shipping based on these 2 chinese vendors. she also said that the front lip can be folded however the sides and rears cannot be folded. by the way, JSPEC is cheaper by $20 for a full type s kit. JSPEC's quote was $560 for the full kit plus $220 for shipping

i might go with paul at the end and get the type S front and rear. i dont really like the shape of the type S sideskirts. i still have to ask him how to get rid of the sharp creases

my price is being dictated by the rrp in japan by the way. i would love to sell $50 bodykit to everyone if only honda and mugen sell it that cheap.

there is cost of freight from japan and those boxes from japan are huge. plus once you get into australia you need to pay for the following fee
    OCEAN FREIGHT
    DELIVERY ORDER
    SHIPPING LINE DOC FEE
    PORT SERVICE CHARGES
    TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGES
    DUTY
    GST
    ELECTRONIC PROCESSING FEE
    CUSTOMS INTERACTIVE COMM
    QUARANTINE ASSESSMENT FEE
    CUSTOMS BROKERAGE
    SEA CARGO AUTOMATION
    CARTAGE LCL CARGO
    FUEL LEVY
    FOB CHARGES AT ORIGIN
    SHIPPING LINE SECURITY

people over this forum whinge all the time when things are so expensive and cry all the way to the forums when they are stung by hidden charges and find out its not worth doing it after all when they buy from overseas

also one should compare apple with apple

if you compare real gucci handbag with fake gucci handbag, of course real gucci handbag price is unreasonable

if you buy fake stuff, compare it with another company that make fake stuff.

to make it clear, i am not against people buying fake stuff (its your money), but i think one should make fair comparison of the product you are going to buy.

all very true Leo (i think it's you).
apologies for the comparison of your company's stock and Paul's fake stock.

like you said, it is very similar to comparing real gucci to fake gucci.
you pay for what you get i guess, but then again,
can you really tell the difference between a real gucci and a fake gucci just by glancing at someone holding it?

like this replica type S kit, it may be fake, and cheap, but from glancing at it, people's first impression wouldn't be "that's fake" it would be more like "hey that looks nice!"

but again, apologies for comparing your stock with this fake stock and complaining about the prices.

    none taken!

its just that a lot of people read the forums and i dont have issue with anyone what they want to do with their car and money.

btw via DHL for the whole bodykit for $500USD is cheappppppppp!

i cant even get that price just for the front bumper from japan. if it is really DHL then it is cheappp! but make sure it is DHL cos people in china people will say whatever people want to hear and once payment send. they just send via normal freight.

    hey fury,

youre getting your kit from JC sportline right? are they using DHL to ship your kit?

yeh it arrived at my aunt's place within 3 business days and via DHL (this is to within china tho), but they kept their word every step of the way.

i dun get why it costs more to ship to USA than to Aus. you would think theres more US shipping methods.

btw im still curious about this whole fold the front lip thing. how does it work. i know its flexible but not THAT flexible. but then again i got the mugen lip which is huge

its polyurethane so you can flex it and it wont break. it may create a sharp crease on where its bent but i believe a heat gun would slowly remove it.

were you able to track your shipment through DHL? also i assume its full insurance right?
